Customize Your Brown Skin Care:

Women with brown skin must learn to observe their skin and make adjustments in their skin care regimen as their skin directs them. You may find that having at your fingertips 1, 2 or all 3 of the Rx for Brown Skin Collections will be essential to meeting the changing needs of your brown skin. For example:

  • If you awaken in the morning and observe that your face is dull and lifeless……to restore radiance……select the Bright and Even Collection to care for your skin that week.
  • During the time immediately preceding your menstrual period, you may notice oily and acne prone skin…..to restore balanced, clear skin…..select the
    Bright and Clear Collection.
  • If you awaken one winter morning and observe that your face is dry and dehydrated……to restore the moisture…..select the Bright and Healthy Collection.


As you observe and learn to listen to what your skin is telling you, you will automatically adjust your skin care routine in other beneficial ways. For example:

  • After gently applying with your fingertips the moisturizer that you selected in the morning, gently work it in with your fingertips until completely absorbed. Carefully observe your skin in a mirror and then touch your skin with your fingers. Apply a second thin layer of moisturizer, should any dry or rough areas persist, be it a spot on the cheeks, or on the chin or the entire face.

  • For persistently oily areas on your face, apply your selected toner with a cotton ball, pause and then apply another layer with a fresh cotton ball to remove any persistent oily areas.
