The History of Rx for Brown Skin

When Dr. Susan Taylor first began practicing medicine, she quickly realized that many of her clients were under-served. Her patients of color shared stories with her about their frustration at not being able to find skincare products that addressed the particular challenges of ethnic skin. Being a woman of color herself, it was a topic close to Dr. Taylor’s heart.

Dr. Taylor became motivated to do something for her clients and all women of color, and it was out of that motivation that Rx for Brown Skin was born. Over the years, this revolutionary collection has continued to receive numerous accolades and media attention for its unique and effective solutions for ethnic skin.
